Tippett Quartet and Royal College of Music Junior Showcase (12 March Conway Hall Sunday Concerts)

Tippett Quartet 6.30pm

The Tippett Quartet regularly appear at Kings Place, Purcell Room, Wigmore Hall, Queen Elizabeth Hall and Bridgewater Hall and frequently perform on BBC Radio 3. They have performed at the BBC Proms and toured Europe, Canada and Mexico. In their 25th anniversary year, we welcome them to Conway Hall in a special concert to mark the release of their album of Korngold string quartets on the Naxos label.

Royal College of Music Junior Department: Chamber Music Showcase • 5.30pm

An exciting snapshot of the outstanding chamber music programme that takes place each Saturday at the Royal College of Music.

This fantastic concert will feature some amazing young performers in a selection of hand-picked groups playing some wonderful repertoire. Please come along and support these rising stars.

Founded in the 1880s, our chamber music concert series is the longest-running of its kind in Europe. Conway Hall was purpose-built in 1929 to host concerts and lectures, and they have continued here until the present day. The ethos of “affordable classical music for all” still remains.
