Talk to bamboo experts about bamboo maintenance, and learn about growing different kinds of bamboo. Hear tips on how to groom and care for your plants, and get ideas about ways to craft with bamboo.

This year the Texas Bamboo Festival Date Coincides with International Day of Peace - September 21st!
In honor or the International Day of Peace we will have a free workshop on how to make an origami crane.
There will also be a silent auction which will feature bamboo root sculptures, bamboo books and exotic bamboo paraphernalia.
The Texas Bamboo Festival is the annual fund raiser for the Texas Bamboo Society Chapter of the American Bamboo Society, a 501 (c)3 non-profit organization. Proceeds are used to provide research, information, education, assistance to public bamboo gardens, support for bamboo artists, and to bring new varieties to the multi-state region represented by the Texas Bamboo Society.
