Repetition, Reticence, and Obsession w/ Raena Shirali
Every artist has one: a muse, an obsession, an intimate "you" we cannot not address, a life event we cannot escape. But how, as writers, do we balance indulging our obsessions and practicing restraint? In this generative workshop, we will first listen to poems that engage with repetition, then write within the psychic space they cultivate-a space unique to each individual writer.
