Learn the practice of mindfulness. Be in the present moment. Find out how you can reduce stress, improve well-being and build resilience. This introductory 4 week class will include practice, discussion and suggestions for integrating mindfulness into your busy life, right now.
Mondays, January 13, 20, 27 and February 3. The course will include the following:
Training in meditation, developing awareness of breath, body, feelings and thoughts.
Managing stress and learning how to shift from reaction to response.
Recognizing and letting go of unhelpful habitual thoughts and mind states.
Exploring, understanding and working with a range of emotional experiences.
No meditation experience required. Everyone is welcome.
