A tail-waggingly good day out for dog lovers at Autumn Show and Game Fair

Taking place at the iconic South of England Showground in Ardingly, West Sussex, on Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th October 2019, the Autumn Show and Game Fair is a perfect weekend event for dog lovers of all ages. Canine companions can take part in agility courses, gundog scurries and terrier racing plus there's gundog displays, meet and greets with hounds, rare terrier and gundog breeds to see and plenty of other doggy-inspired activities and shopping stands to treat the furry members of the family and get those tails wagging.

The event as a whole celebrates the joys of the countryside, rural pursuits and 2019's harvest featuring a whole host of 'have a go' countryside sports and activities and mouth-watering food and drink stalls.

While of course the dogs get to experience the wonders of the day out, there's plenty for the humans (big and small) to enjoy too. They can try their hand at clay pigeon shooting, fly fishing, falconry, archery and axe throwing, or admire the various horticultural displays and take part in the gardener's QandA sessions.

Regardless of age, everyone is sure to love Jonathan Marshall's world famous falconry on horseback display, and the popular pumpkin trail will be back, offering children a fun journey around the showground, stopping off to see the rabbits, Sussex cattle and other farm animals, traditional funfair, pony rides, kite flying and mini steam train.

Tickets for the Autumn Show and Game Fair 2019 cost £10.80 for adults and £9 for seniors/students (including a 10% online discount which ends midnight 4.10.19). *Under 16s go free with a paying adult. Tickets available at www.seas.org.uk.
