Swindon Gilbert and Sullivan Society's HMS PInafore

HMS Pinafore is the story of a lass who loves a Sailor- but is supposed to marry that powerful, pompous politician, Sir Joseph Porter (KCB), and featuring A Sinister Sailor, Mixed messages, a Well-bred Captain, Reporters and Supporters and some Aunts as well as some fabulous tunes.

This will be a modern day production of the classic Victorian operetta, since that will that make easier to be covid safe (since anyone who is not a sailor can get ready at home!) but it opens up the chance for some of the minor sailors to be played by any woman who is happy singing tenor, and a few have taken up the challenge.
