Super Paradise Beach Party Launches On London's South Bank For Summer
The South Bank of the Thames is being transformed into the Cote D'Azur this summer with an all-day beach party extravaganza on a custom-built beach.
Super Paradise beach party will be held at a huge 5,000 square foot on a custom-built beach venue next to the National Theatre with over 30 tonnes of specially imported sand.
It is a temporary site just for the summer and a former car park has been transformed into a purpose-built luxurious huge sandy beach and kitted out with deck chairs, seated areas, 10 luxury VIP cabanas set around the perimeter plus a large in-door space with a dance-floor for the evening, or if there is inclement weather. There are four bars (2 outside, 2 inside), a kitchen serving food and Super Paradise DJs will be playing a selection of dance music for a diverse LGBTQ+ friendly crowd, and performances by top drag artists.
The Super Paradise all-day parties are planned for Sunday 14th July and Saturday 27th July and anyone can attend. Over 1,200 people are expected each day.
Super Paradise organisers Rebecca Paisis and Nicola Chubb say they are looking to recreate the style and sophistication of a fabulous Cannes beach party in South London.
Rebecca Paisis said: "The Super Paradise parties are going to transport South London to La Croisette.
Quite a few people are looking to have a London staycation this year so we thought we would bring the South of France to South London."
And she added: "We will have bar-tenders, bus boys looking like they came straight out of Studio 54 and waitresses in beachwear and roller-skates, and huge colourful inflatables. It's going to be great chance for London to properly let its hair down. The vibe for the event is very diverse and LGBTQ+ friendly, but everyone is welcome, gay or straight, just come and have fun."
