Formed in 2011, the Noûs Quartet have become much-loved regulars at Conway Hall. Their recent CD of Italian music for quartet on Warner Classics has secured their place as one of the finest up-and-coming quartets. We look forward to welcoming them back to Conway Hall in two works by Beethoven, representing his early and late periods. They begin their performance with Webern's Langsamer Satz, his first assignment as Schoenberg's pupil and inspired by Wilhelmine Mörtl, who was soon to become his wife.
