Summer Arts Program

Registration is open for the Care on the Corner [COTC] Summer Arts Programs to be held this August in Hasbrouck Heights, NJ. Call the Care Center at 201-288-9460 to register. Space is limited, so call early!

NewARTS Kids Workshop is for children ages 5 to 11 under the direction of Debra M. Cook, a talented art instructor for over 25 years. Debra shares her joy in making art, exploring new ideas and media, developing skills, and fostering creativity. Not only will students have fun, Debra hopes to imbue students with greater confidence and means of self-expression. Classes meet August 19-21. Five to eight year olds will meet from 10-11am; eight to eleven year olds will meet from 11:15am to 12:15pm. Tuition is $85 per session and includes ALL MATERIALS.

The Kids on the Corner Performing Arts Workshop is for children in grades 2-7, directed by Jennifer Ashline. Jen is an experienced teacher in film and entertainment, Creative Director for COTC's Satellite Program Arts Today in New Jersey. This is the 45th production of Kids on the Corner which educates and enlightens children in different art forms. Children can learn about history, culture, visual arts, set and costume design, music, acting and theatre production. The program runs August 11-13, 9:30am-3:30pm, with a final performance on Wed., Aug. 13th at 7:00pm and is open to all. Fee is $60 which includes ALL LUNCHES.
