One of show business' most classic and beloved tales, 42nd Street tells the story of Peggy Sawyer, a talented, starry-eyed performer who dreams of making it big on Broadway. Peggy uses her naïve charm to catch the eye of legendary director Julian Marsh, who gives her a spot in the chorus of the biggest new show in town. Will Peggy's raw talent be enough to win her a place in the spotlight?
42nd Street is pure musical magic. Filled to the brim with glitz, glamour, and show-stopping tap routines, it's a hark back to traditional musical theatre with a new and revived feel. A joyful show for all the family that'll make you want to go out and buy a pair of tap shoes!
Studley Operatic Society's production of 42nd Street will be taking place at Redditch Palace Theatre from Tuesday 5th – Saturday 9th April 2022.
