The connection between women's entrepreneurship in general and SDGs, in particular, is significant because women-centric entrepreneurs face unique social and economic challenges that hinder their ability to start and grow successful businesses. These challenges include discrimination based on gender, lack of access to ï¬nance as well as markets, insuï¬cient skill development and training, and limited networking and mentorship opportunities. Addressing these challenges is crucial for promoting gender equality, reducing poverty, and achieving sustainable economic growth.
NABARD has been playing a crucial role in transforming the lives of rural women through ï¬nancial inclusiveness. The outcome of this seminar may provide grassroots-level insights to further support the efforts of NABARD. This seminar will highlight the engagement of women investors in the creation of venture capital funds led by women and targeted investment in women-owned enterprises.
