Still Life Drawing

What we'll do:

Each student will set up a simple still life to draw with a variety of media such as pencil, charcoal and ink.

What to bring: 1 pad drawing paper, 1 pad Bristol paper, both 11" x 14"; Pencils, 2H to 6B; Soft vine charcoal; Compressed charcoal; Kneaded eraser; Plastic eraser; Pencil sharpener; 1 small bottle India Ink; 1 round watercolor paintbrush, size 12 (camel or squirrel hair is fine for beginners); Drawing board, approximately 18" x 18"; Artists' tape or painter's tape; 1 ruler; Still life items: I round, 1 square or rectangular, 1 spherical, 1 organic (such as a shell), fabric for a backdrop

What we'll supply: Class will be virtual, conducted on Zoom

Meeting instructions: Classes will be two hours in duration. Times listed are Eastern Time, USA. After you've registered, you'll be sent a Zoom link, ID # and password for the class.
