"Spread The Words" Concert with Grammy Winner Hila Plitmann

"Spread The Words" is the Rainwater Innovation Competition winner project by composer Jingchao Wang, collaborating with Grammy winner soprano Hila Plitmann, Boss Street Brass Band, poet Todd Boss, and two guest composers Bobby Ge and Daniel Despins from Peabody Conservatory. Plitmann will be singing 4 new-commissioned songs by young composers as well as several newly arranged exiting songs, with the Austin-based Boss Street Brass Band. Each song spreads a social justice issue, with the lyric written by the Austin-based poet Todd Boss, who has a very unique lens focusing on social justice issue in his poems.
