Megan Jewel Kerns Bio:

Megan Kerns teaches writing online for The Ohio State University, where she has taught courses in creative nonfiction, composition, and professional writing.  Her essays and poems have appeared in Southern Humanities Review, Yemassee, The Pinch, The Rumpus, and Hawaii Pacific Review. Her essay "This Is East Tennessee Punk Rock" is included in Contemporary Creative Nonfiction: An Anthology. Her poem "Talking Through the Animals" is included in the 2015 Best of the Net Anthology. She is working on a memoir about surviving ovarian cancer.
