Soup Cook Off

It’s not just soup—it’s an experience! The Soup Cook Off presented by Happie Soul Wellness is a fun-filled family event featuring over 40 of Pennsylvania’s best soups, crafted by local amateur and professional chefs. In 2018, Harrisburg Magazine’s Reader’s Choice Awards named the Soup Cook Off the Best Charity Event.
Upon arrival, each guest is given a spoon, voting card and brochure. Chefs serve soup in 2-3 oz portion cups and attendees can walk around the room, sampling all the delicious soup. Some people challenge themselves to try all forty soups. Others may stick to their favorites, going back for seconds and thirds. Ticket price includes entry into the event, event program, spoon, and voting card.
The aim of each chef in the competition is to win the coveted Soup Cook Off Trophy. This is great news for attendees, who get to sample each chef’s best soup creations. Your vote helps determine the top three winners in both the Professional and Amateur divisions. The Professional Division features chefs from restaurants and those with culinary degrees, while the Amateur Division showcases talented home cooks.
