Soo Sunny Park: Boundary Conditions is a full gallery installation at the Cahoon Museum of American Art. Artist reception: November 8, 4:30 pm - 6:00pm.
The artist Soo Sunny Park is known for creating monumental, immersive installations that transform their environments into realms of moving light, reflection, and shadow. In Boundary Conditions, she weaves together a metal grid with iridescent Plexiglas that transmits, reflects, and refracts daylight to create an otherworldly installation. Changing light conditions reveal different facets of the sculpture, so that during different times of day it shifts from translucent and clear to colorful and prismatic.
