SONGS OF LOVE: A Valentine Cabaret

The Arts at Trinity will present SONGS OF LOVE: A Valentine Cabaret, featuring Broadway show tunes, classical art songs, jazz standards, and favorites from the Great American Songbook, on Sunday, Feb. 11, at 4 p.m. in Trinity Episcopal Church, at 1108 N. Adams St., Wilmington, DE.
Admission is FREE, including both pre- and post-concert receptions offering Valentine sweets.

Performing "songs of the heart" will be soprano Jacquelynne Fontaine-Isaac, tenor Alan Naylor and pianist Thomas Pandolfi, all Washington, D.C.-based artists boasting national and regional credits for musical theater, opera and concert engagements. Ms. Fontaine-Isaac appeared as the Italian opera diva Carlotta in The Phantom of the Opera's national tour of more than 1,000 performances throughout the U.S. and Canada. Mr. Naylor has enthralled audiences in leading roles with Signature Theatre, Washington National Opera, Olney Theatre, and Creative Cauldron. The Washington Post has described Mr. Pandolfi as "a master of both the grand gesture and the sensual line."

"TAAT is thrilled to present artists of this caliber in an intimate setting," said David Simmons, Trinity's music director. "This promises to be an afternoon of musical love and delight to warm listeners' souls on a mid-winter afternoon."

Trinity Church is handicap accessible, with designated parking spaces, ramps on either side of the complex, and an outdoor elevator, accessible for services and special events. FREE parking is available adjacent to the church on N. Adams Street and in the church parking lot on W. 11th Street. The performance will end at 5:30, so you have plenty of time to get home for the kick-off of the Super Bowl at 6:30 pm!
