Based in Boston, Songs in the Key of Life pays tribute to one of the greatest musicians of our time: Stevie Wonder. The band has a rotating cast of phenomenal singers, each of whom sings Stevie's tunes in his or her own way. At Payomet, the band will feature Lance Webb, formerly of Pieces of a Dream and local funk favorite Hypertension; Concetta, the sultry voiced singer who has shared the stage with numerous Grammy nominees, and Sheree Dunwell, a versatile first call vocalist who has sung all over the country displaying her serious talent.
Songs covers tunes from albums as far back as My Cherie Amour (1968) to Conversation Peace (1995). You will hear some of Stevie's greatest upbeat songs, such as "I Wish," "Superstition" and "Do I Do," as well as ballads including "Creepin'" and "Ribbon in the Sky."
