Take a peek behind the "Slambovian Curtain" and experience the creative engine behind the Hudson Valley's "Best Band" (Chronogram Magazine, Hudson Valley Magazine) in this intimate trio performance with founding band members. Joziah Longo leads with vocals described as "soothing and bewitching as a snake oil tonic", Tink Lloyd (accordion, cello, mandolin, flute) and guitarist/mandolin wizard Sharkey McEwen add to the Slambovian brew. The threesome dig deep into their catalog for Thursday's first appearance at City Winery NYC.
Currently touring their last release, "A Very Unusual Head", the band is also celebrating the 25th Anniversary of their groundbreaking debut album "A Good Thief Tips His Hat".
