ST. LOUIS SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL
10th ANNUAL SHAKESPEARE IN THE STREETS and WORLD PREMIERE: "THE GAME'S AFOOT"
Written by Benjamin Hochman (award-winning St. Louis Post-Dispatch sports columnist)
Adapted from a series of history plays in the Henriad by William Shakespeare
Inspired by true stories of soccer in St. Louis
Shakespeare in the Streets is an internationally recognized community engagement program focused on a singular neighborhood setting (previous locations include Cherokee Street, The Grove, Old North, The Ville, and Bevo Mill). This year's production celebrates the uniting force of soccer in the region and across the globe with stories from 125 years of soccer in St. Louis into Shakespeare's most epic history saga known as the Henriad.
