American choral music offers almost infinite varieties of styles, colors, and moods. Join our coast-to-coast journey as we sample its riches. In collaboration with pianist Dara Phung, we'll offer spirituals, jazz, Broadway, and the best of the 20th and 21st centuries with works of Ives, Billings, Mechem, Alice Parker, Bill Evans, Mollicone, Ellington, Nixon, and more. In addition, we'll present new works by Composer-in-Residence Xingyue Song, and Composer-Not-in-Residence Patricia Julien.
