This year, the annual fundraiser supports If Given A Chance (IGAC), an organization that for 25 years has assisted Napa County high school students, who have shown grit and determination through profound traumatic challenges, to continue their education.
Among the many items now open for bids in the silent auction are:

Private tour and epicurean experience in the historic redwood cellar of Charles Krug Winery for four guests, two magnums of legendary Charles Krug vintage selection Cabernet. and four tickets to the annual "Tastings on The Lawn" set for September 2021.
A hot air balloon ride for four over the Napa Valley plus brunch hosted by Napa Valley Aloft.
Two three-day general admission tickets to Bottle Rock.
A USD 3,000 portrait package with Bokeh Creatives Fine Arts

The silent auction will close as of 6:30 p.m. on Dec. 4 during the virtual holiday party, which will include a live auction. Those virtually attending the event can bid on an array of items - such as a stay at a Pebble Beach home or date nights for a year at Napa Valley restaurants- during the live auction. Tickets at USD 50 per person are available at BillDoddHolidayParty.com and include an optional dinner to be picked up the day of the event at  Foodshed, a long-time supporter of Napa County youth.
The event will include musical  entertainment, announcement of the high school student winners of the IGAC essay contest, and virtual appearances by Dodd; Allison Haley, Napa County district attorney and president of IGAC; Barbara Nemko, Napa County superintendent of schools and founding board member of IGAC; Dorothy Salmon, founding board member of IGAC; and Elizabeth Glenn O'Dell, IGAC board member.

"My hope for this year's annual charity fundraiser is to bring the community together during these difficult times to support our Napa County high school students in need, showing the resilient spirit of Napa County," Dodd said. "I am proud to support the important work If Given A Chance does every day. They help our most vulnerable students navigate and succeed throughout their post-secondary education."
