The Shingle style is quintessential to the Bay State's shoreline, having been popular for the beach retreats of Boston's turn-of-the-century well-to-do. These homes still evoke those fashionable and relaxed summers, and will be one of styles highlighted on this tour, along with other styles that were popular in this era.
