NIK WESTON ROOFTOP SESSIONS INCOMING!!! Sat Mar 23 - (9pm-1am / free entry) - We continue our strictly good time weekly series of Saturday Night Rooftop DJ Sessions - This week hosted by Mukatsuku Records Founder + leading funk/soul/hop and groove DJ NIK WESTON. A Late night session where we invite you to drink, dance and seriously get merry to the beats, breaks and eclectic sounds, delivered by a line up of heavyweight good time DJs, Free Entry up on the (weatherproof) roof at The CLF Art Lounge and Roof Garden.

NIK WESTON (Mukatsuku Records)

Nik Weston first entered the London Club dance music scene in 1995, when he started the club night Phony in Piccadilly. He and two other friends then started a club night in Soho called Mukatsuku in 1997. It ran for 2 years from 1997 - 1999 upstairs at two floor room Club in London China Town called The Clinic, and was nominated by London Evening Standard Newspaper as 'club night of the year'.

As a DJ over the years, he's played over 30 countries including 20 tours of Japan and supported the likes of Gilles Peterson, Danny Krivit, Moodyman, Pharoah Sanders, Tania Maria etc. Since 2001 Weston has put out over 200 releases on various labels in the US, Europe and Japan, and over 80 releases on his own Mukatsuku Records strictly vinyl only, singles only label imprint. 

MUKATSUKU RECORDS: Mukatsuku Records is well-established as one of the finest labels embracing and celebrating music from around the world and Nik will be digging deep in his record box with lovers rock, funk, latin, brasil, rare groove and boogie/disco classics to make sure you positively get down!
