San Francisco Boys Chorus Concert -- Noel, Noel, Noel

Families and choral music lovers will enjoy this ever-popular concert! Noel, Noel, Noel. It promises to be an exciting event with all our choral groups, our bellringers and the San Francisco Academy Orchestra coming together to celebrate the season. Our youngest boys are singing some unusually interesting songs in Swahili, Jamaican, Spanish, and French while the Concert Chorus and Graduate Chorale will sing parts of French composer Marc-Antoine Charpentier's delightful Messe de Minuit pour Noel which is based upon French carols. Bach will not be far from the program, and we'll present a delightful rarity, Sir Edward Elgar's (think Enigma Variations) A Christmas Greeting for boy's voices, 2 solo violins and piano. So come hear the songs of the season, traditional and modern, with the heavenly sound of our boys' voices and catch some holiday warmth.
