Royal Marines Band The Oceaniares

Fresh from their first concert in October 2022, the newly revived big band from The Bands of HM Royal Marines, 'The Oceanaires', are excited to reinvigorate the music from the 1940's swing era and bring their unique talents to the Layard Theatre.
Under the direction of The Principle Director of Music Royal Marines, Lt Col Jase Burcham, the band will include instrumentalists and vocalists from around the Royal Marines Band Service, bringing with them a wide and varied programme of your favourite big band numbers. This is a fantastic opportunity to see the band in a guise far removed from usual military music and should not be missed
