Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be in prison for a crime you didn't commit?
The Alaska Innocence Project presents Reflections on Wrongful Conviction...with well renowned exonerees Amanda Knox and Marvin Roberts.
Amanda Knox spent 4 years in an Italian prison wrongfully convicted of the murder of her college roommate. She was incarcerated even though the real killer was identified, convicted, and imprisoned. Her story has been told through her best-selling memoir and a Netflix Documentary.
Marvin Roberts spent 18 years in prison after being wrongfully convicted of murder as one of the Fairbanks Four. Marvin and his three co-defendants fought for their innocence and were exonerated after one of the individuals involved in the killing confessed.
Come hear their gripping stories first-hand - Reflections On Wrongful Conviction, Wednesday, July 6th 5:30pm-7:00pm in the Wilda Marston Theatre.
Seating is limited. Tickets are $45 in advance, $50 at the door.
