Red, White, and Blue Jeans Lincoln Day Dinner With Senator Tom Cotton

The Miller County Republican Committee will host a Red, White, and Blue Jeans Lincoln Day Dinner at Crossties, located in downtown Texarkana, AR, on Wednesday, August 9, 2023. The distinguished guest and keynote speaker is Senator Tom Cotton, United States Senator of Arkansas. Senator Cotton's committees include the Judiciary Committee, where he serves as the Ranking Member for the Subcommittee on Criminal Justice and Counterterrorism, the Intelligence Committee, and the Armed Services Committee, where he serves as the Ranking Member of the Air Land Power Subcommittee. Senator Cotton grew up in Yell County, Arkansas, and following the September 11th attacks, served nearly five years of active duty in the United States Army as an Infantry Officer. Senator Cotton served in Iraq with the 101st Airborne and in Afghanistan with a Provincial Reconstruction Team. Between his two combat tours, Senator Cotton served with The Old Guard at Arlington National Cemetery. Senator Cotton's military decorations include the Bronze Star Medal, Combat Infantry Badge, and Ranger Tab. A special tribute will also be made to veterans and first responders by Command Sergeant Major Steven Veazey. CSM Veazey, also born and raised in Arkansas, has a military career spanning over two decades with the Army National Guard.

A VIP Reception with Senator Cotton will begin at 5:30pm and dinner for all attendees begins at 6:30pm. The dinner is being catered by Lagniappe Specialty Meats and includes a choice of a ribeye or chicken in the main course. Dinner tickets are $60 per person. Dinner plus VIP reception tickets are $100 per person. Sponsorships are still available for $250 or $750.
