Reconciliation through Education and Understanding at LVUC on Truth and Reconciliation Day

The Kairos Blanket Exercise is a historical experience from the perspective of Indigenous People. Conducted by a trained facilitator from the Tsleil-waututh nation, the Blanket Exercise is a powerful way of learning about the history of the relationship between Indigenous and non-Indigenous peoples in Canada, not only with the head but also the heart. It is a time of listening that will aid reconciliation through learning and understanding. This event is hosted by Lynn Valley United Church and is admissible by donation. It is suitable for adults and students grade 10 and up.
