This auction includes over 120 British Empire country lots offered by country from a lifetime's mint and used stamp collection from Queen Victoria to George Sixth. The catalogue value is in excess of £200,000 and each stamp was collected from dozens of auctions, stamp fairs and stamp shops over the many years to make attractive collections neatly laid out on leaves for each country. Condition overall is very nice and above average for these, so very, very few damaged or poor stamps included. In the main, overall his collection was to 5s or 10s values for EDVII-GV issues, and middle values for Queen Victoria. Each page is arranged in order of printings and lightly annotated by year and or watermark, perforation or shades. Each collection is sold intact, unpicked leaving the useful stamps for your enjoyment, odd varieties have been identified or found in some lots and remain. A superb opportunity to fill those gaps. Each lot can be identified in the country sections as Ex-estate lot.
