Practicing Christian Healing Today, a lecture by Mary Alice Rose, CSB

What do you think of when you hear the word Christianity? For some, Christianity may have negative connotations. "But the Christianity I know," says practitioner of Christian Science healing and international speaker, Mary Alice Rose, "the practice of love that Christ Jesus taught, is a vital, crucial agent for healing in the world today."

Rose will give a talk called, Practicing Christian Healing Today, Thursday, March 5th, at 7:00pm at the Willows Event Center, 6303 82nd Street.

Rose will explore how everyone can apply the Bible's teachings of love to the daily demands of the 21st century. She'll also refer to helpful explanations of this approach to healing from the book, Science and Health with Key to the Scriptures, written by Mary Baker Eddy, the founder of the Christian Science movement.

"At the heart of healing is love—having the true vision of our neighbor which flows from God, Love itself." says Rose. "In this lecture, I'll share how this love impels us to go beyond our preconceived notions and discover more of each individual's God-derived nature in order to help others. My hope is that you'll be able to walk away from this lecture with the essence of true Christianity in your own heart: love that reforms, transforms, and heals."
