As the local Valley communities come together to celebrate this most wonderful time of the year, the Lompoc Pops Orchestra is gearing up to deliver a magical performance that captures the spirit of the holiday season! The concert will feature a repertoire of classic Christmas tunes, timeless carols and perhaps a few surprises to delight audience members of all ages. Its rumored THE GRINCH himself will be making a menacing appearance so it's appropriate to announce this disclosure up front.

'In spite of a possible appearance by THE GRINCH, we are thrilled to present this year's Christmas concert, an event that has become a cherished tradition for our local communities," stated Dr. Brian Alhadeff, conductor and artistic director for THE POPS. "Our talented musicians have prepared a festive program that is sure to fill hearts with joy and infuse everyone with the Holiday spirit."

Dr. Alhadeff has chosen "Christmas Festival," "Skaters Waltz" and the often-requested "Sleigh Ride," in addition to Jennifer Freye's solo rendition of "White Christmas" and "It's Beginning to Look a Lot Like Christmas!" Julia Anderson, assistant POPS conductor and orchestral conductor for Lompoc High School, will conduct "Christmas Tradition." Frosty the Snowman himself intends to take over directing the orchestra in - what else but "Frosty The Snowman!"

Don't miss this opportunity to experience the magic and fun of the season through the transcendent power of live orchestral music! Adults are admitted for $25.00 while full-time students of all ages are $5.00 at the door with student I.D.. Children 12 and under are free, and there is a special active-duty military discount by request.
