This year’s Phoenixville Beer & Wine Festival promises to be bigger and better than ever. More than 3000 people will descend on the Kimberton Fairgrounds in Phoenixville on May 11, 2019, for 4 hours of sampling, games and fun from 12:00-4:00 pm.
Guests will sample beers from local brewers, such as Tuned Up, Victory and Sterling Pig, as well as some up-andcoming home brewers, like Hewitt Brothers and Stoney Creek, in addition to Massachusetts’ Lord Hobo Brewery. Wine lovers will taste delicious offerings from A’Dello, King Cole and Moss Wineries, among others. As if all that isn’t enough, there will be ciders – Rebel Seed, Wyndridge, Sir Charles – meads – Haymaker and Meduseld - and spirits – Brandywine and Pennsylvania Distilling. More than 150 choices in all for those in attendance!
Need a break from sampling? How about an axe throwing competition or some giant Jenga instead! Listen to live music, grab some delicious snacks from a variety of food trucks, including Nick’s Roast Beef, The Cow and the Curd, and Viva Bowls or visit local artisans that will have a variety of beer- and wine-related items on hand.
There is ample parking onsite. Additionally, free shuttles will be available from downtown Phoenixville and from the Courtyard by Marriott in Malvern, if you choose to stay overnight there at a special festival rate.
General admission is just $45, with a special savings of $5 each when bought as a six-pack. Designated drivers attend for just $10. Tickets are available on the Phoenixville Beer & Wine Festival website, and much more information can be found by visiting the Facebook page.
