Penn Cove Musselfest is a culinary celebration of the world-famous Penn Cove mussels grown right off the shores of Coupeville. These tasty mollusks quickly grow in the clean river-fed waters of Penn Cove. Each year area restaurants compete to see who can concoct the best mussel chowder, and those who buy Chowder Tasting tickets get the chance to vote on who is the winner! There are also FREE mussel cooking demonstrations by both local and regional chefs.
Visitors can also enjoy beer gardens with live music, boat tours of the mussel beds, family-friendly activities, and plenty of shopping in downtown Coupeville.
