The Long Beach Camerata Singers begins the season with a soaring choral event showcasing 70 voices, led by Grammy-winner Dr. James K. Bass. The concert is an examination of how we co-exist together, with a focus on the LGBTQ community and will be anchored by excerpts from "Considering Matthew Shepard," as well as other pieces that reflect both the pain and joy of learning to live in our diverse community. Hosted by Long Beach Icon, Jewels, the narrated concert features music composed and arranged by LGBTQ artists. A pre-concert lecture will be presented by Dr. Josh Palkki at 4:30.
