This is a family event to start the Memorial Day weekend. Most parents want their children to understand the significance of Memorial Day, and this event is designed to teach honor and respect to those who have fallen in service to America, while also appreciating our nation. There will be many veterans, Budweiser Clydesdales, Fort Riley's Mounted Color Guard, Corvettes and Motorcycles and so much more. HyVee will be giving away free hot dogs and apple pie during the Concert in The Durham Museum's parking lot. The concert will include a cameo appearance by Lee Greenwood performing his signature song, "God Bless The USA," the Omaha Symphonic Chorus, Camille Metoyer-Moten, Grateful Heart. Emcee will be Hal Daub, Army veteran, former Omaha mayor and US Congressman.
Parade begins at 12th & Jackson and travels east to 10th Street, then south to The Durham Museum, where the Concert will be held.
In the event of rain, the concert will move to the lower level of parking at The Durham Museum.
