"Owl"-O-Ween

Black Hills Raptor Center hosts "Owl"-O-Ween Celebration and Trunk-or-Treat at Caputa SD
 
Join the Black Hills Raptor Center in celebrating "Owl"-O-Ween on Saturday, October 29 at the new Black Hills Raptor Center facility, 15256 EAST Hwy 44, Rapid City. Families are invited to make a reservation and explore the world of owls and other raptors while trick- or- treating. Costumes are encouraged!!
Black Hills Raptor Center volunteers will be on site with candy, activities, and education birds for participants to meet. Families can go Trunk- or- Treating, dissect owl pellets, get their photo taken by professional photographer Audra Van Ekeren, enjoy a scavenger hunt, and help paint pumpkins.
Participants can also learn more about the next steps in our construction project, purchase Raptor Center merchandise, and buy raffle tickets for the "You Gotta Eat, the Birds Gotta Eat" Redux.
Reservations are required to help us keep the numbers of people on site manageable. Cost is $1 per person, which will be dedicated to purchasing raptor food in 2023.
Make your reservations now for one of 5 opportunities on Saturday, October 29. The first group will start at 1pm, and the final group for the afternoon will be at 5pm. Each group is limited to 80 people.
