Funk, Soul, Disco, Afro, Latin + more from across the planet explored - London to Lagos via Rio De Janeiro and Detroit Michigan - all served up for your absolute listening and total get down pleasure.

OSCAR ROMP
Oscar Romp has been active on the uk Jazz-Funk-Soul scene for Almost 40 years.
He is well known for his unique paintings of dancers made ‘live' on location at dance club events, such as Deep Funk, Groove Sanctuary, The 100 Club 6T's Allnighters and Southport Dance Music weekender.
He is also a well-known Dancer in his own right on the UK Jazz-dance and Northern Soul Scenes. Oscar stumbled upon the Underground 80's Northern Soul scene whilst a student in West Yorkshire, and was immediately hooked.

Way Back, - Oscar also learned classical flute at school in South London, but abandoned this at age 17 in favour of Jazz and improvisation, attending the Wavendon Jazz course led by Cleo Laine and John Dankworth. Unequal to the demands of Jazz technique, he abandoned musicianship altogether, engaging with improvisational dance instead...

As A DJ he spins a mix of vintage vinyl sounds including Disco, Funk, Motown, Northern Soul, Reggae, Ska, Rhythm and Blues, Jazz, and Latin.
