The concert program includes solo organ compositions by Jehan Alain, a Baroque concerto by Walther, chorale preludes by Kenton Coe and the Bach "Prelude and Fugue in C Minor". Lazarus and Hamilton will perform the Hovhanness "Prayer to St. Gregory" and Handel’s "Suite in D Major, HWV 341". The artists are well known and frequent performers in the Twin Cities. Hamilton, a member of the Twin Cities AGO Chapter, is an extremely active internationally acclaimed recitalist and teacher. Lazarus is associate principal trumpeter of the Minnesota Orchestra for over two decades. He performs internationally and is heard live in Orchestra concerts frequently broadcast throughout the world. Reception in the lobby to meet the musicians following the concert. The concert is free and open to the public.
