Opera at the Castle 2023

This show is a lovely introduction to opera as it is in an informal environment. Just come and choose your space on the lawn - bring a picnic and bring something nice to drink.

A summer gala of operatic highlights, from spectacular choral numbers to moving and comic arias sung by professionals and the Kentish Opera Chorus.

Performances are at 2pm and 6pm and each one lasts for approximately two hours, including an interval.

Children are welcome and go free up to and including 16-year-olds - there is space to get up and wander off if you need to!

Groups of 10+ get a 10% discount and Chiddingstone Castle also offers a reduced entry fee for those attending the show, meaning you can make a full day of it looking round the venue and its collections, enjoying the beautiful gardens and having a cream tea too.
