James Montgomery has used his talent time and time again to help those in need. A legendary blues man, James and his band have been known throughout New England for stepping up for causes, especially veterans causes.
Saturday March 14th will be no different. The James Montgomery Band will be appearing at the Lowell Elks for a benefit concert in support of Veterans Assisting Veterans (VAV). Veterans are near and dear to James's heart, having played once before to benefit VAV. Now James is helping VAV send 50 Vietnam Veterans to the Vietnam War Memorial in Washington D.C. "We owe a debt of gratitude to our Vietnam Vets. They deserve this. I'm all in." said Montgomery.
James has played with the best of the best. He's toured and jammed with the likes of Bonnie Raitt, B.B. King, Buddy Guy and Mick Jagger. Montgomery's band has been the springboard for many musicians including Billy Squire, Wayne Kramer of MC-5 and Jeff Golub who played with Rod Stewart to name a few.
Come see James, one of the greatest ever to play the blues harmonica. The James Montgomery Band will be rocking the Lowell Elks, 40 Old Ferry Road, Lowell, MA on March 14th at 7pm. Tickets will be general admission and only $25.
