February 9th Line Up:
Host: Jess Miller
Jess is a spontaneously energetic comedian and crowd favorite from her hometown in Massachusetts to the sunshine state of Florida. She loves breaking down barriers and making people laugh with her amusing observations about being gay in America. She has been up and down the East coast headlining and slinging jokes and is often found raising money through her Funnyraising Comedy Shows. Jess won the 2021 Ladies Room Comedy Festival in NYC (2021). She has performed at the Women in Comedy Festival, Boston Comedy Chicks, placed 3rd at the Devil Cup Comedy Festival in NYC, Big Pine Comedy Festival, Caroline’s on Broadway and more.
Jess ran a wildly successful monthly show called The “OMG! It’s Only Wednesday?” Comedy Show at the Hu Ke Lau in Chicopee, Massachusetts and has raised over a half of a million dollars for non-profits, groups and individuals, including her Annual Toy Drive for Foster Kids.
She’s the Head Giver (that is the director of gifts, not what you're thinking, Dirtypants!) of an anonymous group of individuals called “The Kind Squad” who work to help others in their communities.
Special Guest: Laura Grant
Laura Grant is a stand up comedian, singer, songwriter, speaker, talk show host and psychologist. Relocated from the South (Florida, Louisiana and Swamplands beyond) to Massachusetts in 2011, Laura has many stories to tell. With coming of age experiences and multiple careers in the service and hospitality (yep, she worked as a bartender in strip clubs and a server in country clubs, early bird cabarets and the circuit of Italian restaurants), as a G-girl (G is for gubment), Miami radio, limo service liaisons, large financial corporations and as a professional musician, Laura continues to evolve and grow, finding new ways to create, entertain and bring happiness to the culture.
Feature: Missy G Hall
Missy Hall is the Queen of Happy Things! She loves to laugh, believes pants are optional and thinks the world would be better place if dogs were in charge. She is the 2013 winner of the Laugh Out Loud Competition, has worked as a warm-up comic for Harry Connick, Jr at CBS Television, and her freshman comedy CD, “Miss Representation” was a first round Grammy nominee in 2012 for funniest comedy album. A seasoned actress/singer, Missy was featured in “Road Spill” on TruTV and in the feature film “Days of Power” with Eric Roberts released in 2018. Missy was also a finalist in the professional category of the 2018 Ladies Out Loud competition, a finalist at the 2018 Big Sky Comedy Festival, a performer at HBO’s Women in Comedy Festival, a headliner at the 2019 San Diego Comedy Festival, and made Best of the Fest in the 2019 Burbank Comedy Festival. In 2020, she performed virtually in the Big Pine Comedy Festival and once again in the Burbank Comedy Festival, grateful to only have to look fancy from the chest up. She has recently appeared in an AMC commercial on Jezebel for the new show “Kevin Can F*&k Himself” and has come to realize none of her pants fit.
Missy is a comedian, warm up act, and motivational speaker with a sharp-witted, universal style that captivates audiences around the country. She enjoys naps, her dogs, and making up words that no one else understands. Most of all, she enjoys connecting with strangers through laughter, even if it requires putting on pants.
Headliner: Coleman Green
Coleman Green who’s known in the Philadelphia comedy scene has quickly increased his comic opportunities nationally and internationally.
A rising star, Coleman Green is no stranger to the entertainment world. Gracing the stages of many venues, clubs and corporate events, Coleman has managed to find the common link between all races, ethnicities, cultures, and incomes. He’s a stand-up comedian, actor, writer and producer of his own animation series. He has the ability when needed, to bring his comedy into the roles that he often portrays. His ability to make you laugh is certainly a talent that can not be taught.
