Old Northwood Historic District 2019 Home Tour

The Old Northwood Historic District in West Palm Beach—bounded by Broadway, North Dixie Highway and 26th and 35th Streets—contains 320 historic buildings and is one of the first Historic Districts to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. 

This year’s tour will be held on Sunday, December 15, from 5 pm— 9 pm. 

General Admission Tickets are the same price as last year, $35.00. Check-in will begin at 3:30 pm at 3510 Spruce Ave, WPB, FL 33407. 

The Candlelight Home Tour is an annual event that began thirty years ago. It has drawn over 1,400 people to visit the historic homes in this unique neighborhood and share wine, light bites in select homes, and conversation with friends and neighbors. The Old Northwood District includes homes in the Mission, Mediterranean Revival, and Mid-Century Vernacular styles designed in the 1920s to 1950s by leading architects. 

This year we are offering the VIP party located at the clubhouse that will have limited ticket sales and will feature food, drinks, live music and a beer tasting from Ookapow Brewery - a local West Palm Beach brewery.  As a VIP, you will also have VIP front-of-the-line access to each home when you purchase the Home Tour VIP package. The Home Tour VIP Package is $65.00 per individual. 

As a newly added feature, we’re joining forces with Gourmet Truck Expo and will be having five food trucks along Spruce. So, come ready to look at beautiful historic homes, have dinner and a FUN night out to get everyone into the holiday spirit.   

This year in conjunction with the WPB Poice and Fire departments, we are having a Toy Drive- collecting unwrapped toys, Gift card, and cash.  For those that would like to participate, local police will have a setup location at check-in. We will also have local shops with vendor booths from 3:30 PM to 7 PM at 3510 Sprice Ave., across the street from check-in.

What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? 
Parking will be available along the streets within Old Northwood. There will also be a trolly that will run down Spruce Ave. Check-in is at 3510 Spruce Ave.  This is where you will receive your wristband.

What's the refund policy? 
This is a Rain-or-Shine event, and there are no refunds. 

What food is offered? There will be light bites offered in select homes.  Gourmet Truck Expo will have food trucks that will be along Spruce Ave. for you to grab more of a whole meal.   

Will we have wine, beer, and Champagne at each home? 
Yes 

Are children welcome? 
Yes, however not recommended and everyone must have a ticket to enter the homes.
