The featured photographs are Fine Art Photography captured during the travels of the Old Man, Jeff Mason, and his partner Dawg. The images are an attempt to bring the experience of a moment in nature to the viewer. Over 20 images will be on display including Landscapes, Wildlife, Astrophotography, and Nature in Color and Black and White. Exhibit is open M-F 9am to 6pm and one of Fine Art pieces will be given away at the end of the exhibit. The exhibit is a collection of images taken over the last couple of years but also includes a Black and White image captured and processed in 1983 at the beginning of a lifelong passion to create moving images of outdoor experiences. Work, family, and responsibilities sidelined the passion for many years, but upon retirement, that passion has returned stronger then ever. Today, there is so much information available, that learning new techniques and genres is possible at warp speed and creates new avenues to express and capture more of the world around us. There is nothing like going out at 2 in the morning with Dawg, my 4 year old Border Collie, up into the hills on a clear night to be able to see the Milky Way with the naked eye, but then to be able use the tools learned to capture and enhance an image of the immensity of the galaxy into a single image. Or to take a road trip in this amazing country to visit waterfalls and capture the mystic peacefulness of falling, cascading water in a tree filled canyon. Come visit the exhibit to see some of these experiences captured as images and Fine Art.
