Brenda Sheldrake

Brenda Marie Sheldrake is a co-author of the Best-Selling 1Habit to Thrive in a Post-Covid World. She is a representative with Primerica Financial Services who helps families, who have members living with disabilities, take control of their finances to achieve financial security, eliminating confusion and uncertainty and creating process and clarity with regard to their financial goals. She is also a Licensee of Selling on the Spot Marketplace Online. She helps entrepreneurs and business owners develop expertise in closing sales quickly and confidently through the interactive training she provides at Selling on the Spot Marketplace Online events

Before joining Primerica, Brenda worked thirteen years as administrative assistant, receptionist and Anti-Oppression/Diversity Co-ordinator. After a successful career supporting the management and clients of the health centre and training staff, volunteers and board members in the concepts of anti-oppression, diversity and empowerment , Brenda now helps individuals living with disabilities to address one of the biggest sources of oppression, lack of financial resources.

Brenda volunteered in a variety of locations including addiction treatment centres, abused women’s shelters and parent relief programs for children with disabilities. In 2000 Brenda received a Community Service Award from the Ministry of Correctional Services. Through her volunteering and her work in the health centre Brenda’s empathy and understanding allowed parents to share a lot of their fears with her. Their biggest fears always being in the area of financial security in the future when they were no longer here to care for them prompted Brenda to pursue her present career.

Brenda is available to facilitate anti-oppression or diversity workshops, financial literacy workshops and one to one work clarifying financial goals and creating financial plans.
