Aveda Global Artistic Director, Texture

BIO:

Renee was her family's hairdresser by age 9 and became known as the community "kitchen beautician" by age 14. Even as a middle school math teacher, taking care of hair seemed to follow her wherever she went. As a professional, Renee worked at Arrojo Studio in New York, specializing in hair cutting. There she became a Senior Stylist while advancing her skill and understanding of textured hair. Currently, Renee is still behind the chair as a stylist and is ever learning. As Aveda's Global Artistic Director of Texture, Renee strives to educate others about the fascinating range of all hair textures, while also working alongside RandD to build the products that would best serve this client. As the Director of Technical Education with Aveda Arts and an advocate for texture with the Elevate Hair Team, she is working diligently to train and inspire the coming generation of hair stylists to be well versed in all hair types and textures.

Kevin Molin

Vice President, Global Education, Aveda

As Vice President, Global Education for Aveda, Kevin is responsible for establishing the brand’s global education strategy and overseeing the development of holistic, blended learning experiences for Aveda Artists, Advisors, and employees worldwide. The Aveda Global Education Team creates technical, business, and service delivery protocols to provide the skills necessary for artists and retail team members to deliver exceptional experiences to guests will all hair types and textures.

Naomi Dove

Aveda North America Artistic Director for Texture

BIO:

At a young age, Naomi was inspired by her ability to bring out the best in people through their hair. She struggled with loving her own hair and began experimenting with products she found at the local beauty supply store or under her mother’s bathroom sink. Naomi enrolled in cosmetology school and committed to becoming well-versed in all hair types. With 19 years in the industry, Naomi is now Salon Director at The Blue Daisy, an Aveda Concept Salon and day spa in Arizona. She is also the Aveda North America Artistic Director for Texture, where she leads the network in making texture the standard instead of a trend.
