National Workshop on Cloud Security

WORKSHOP OVERVIEW
Security, trust, and privacy issues are major obstacles for massive adoption of cloud computing. The extensive use of virtualization technologies exposes the existing system to new threats, which previously were not considered. There is a chain of responsibilities in terms of service delivery that can introduce more vulnerability for the secure management of data, the enforcement of privacy rules, and the trust given to the service provider.

One day workshop on cloud security is being organised by th Kongu Engineering College on 18 February 2017.

Objective of this workshop is to bring awareness on the challenges in this area mostly concerned with devising secure and trustable systems from different perspectives: technical, social, and legal.

Sessions will be handled by experts from C-DAC, Data Security Council and experienced academicians.

The workshop is for participants who understands basic computer networks and web architecture.
