National Level Knowledge Training Workshop on Writing of Research Proposals, Thesis, Reports And Papers. January 30 & 31, 2017 (Two days), Christ University Nodal Office

OBJECTIVE(S):  
The Workshop aims to improve knowledge and skills of researchers in preparing research-related documents – proposals, synopsis, thesis, reports and papers.

• How to prepare Annexure for the Thesis?    What is the best format to present the Thesis?
• What is a Report?
•  How a Report is Different from Thesis?
• How to write Papers/Academic articles?
• What are the key components when it comes to Publishing?
• What are the different types of Papers/Academic Articles?
• What is the best format to write Papers?

PROFILE OF PARTICIPANTS:
Scientists, Research Guides & Research Students,  including Post-Graduate, M.Phil and Ph.D. students
RESOURCE PERSON:
Experienced trainer & data scientist, with very positive feedback from participants of earlier training workshops.

WORKSHOP REGISTRATION AND FEES:
Interested participants must apply, using the format below, by e-mail/post/hand, with the fees of Rs.1,500 by DD/bank transfer/cash on or before January 25, 2017.    

Application received after due date will not be entertained. Fees include costs of training materials, stationery, and use of computer lab, lunch and refreshments on the three training days.
ACCOMMODATION:
Can be arranged on request.   Participants will also be guided to make own arrangements.

The Workshop starts at 10.00 am on January 30, 2017.
Certificate of Participation will be issued to those who take part in all sessions of the Workshop.
Certificate for availing duty leave will also be issued on request.
