NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots organization dedicated to building better lives for individuals with a mental health condition and their families. This free seminar is led by trained family volunteers with lived experience of supporting a a loved one with a mental health condition. Topics include: understanding diagnoses, treatment and recovery, effective communication strategies, the importance of self-care, crisis preparation strategies and NAMI and community resources. This event is offered virtually via video conference.
