NAMI is the nation's largest grassroots organization dedicated to building better lives for individuals with a mental health condition and their families. This free seminar is led by trained family volunteers with lived experience of supporting a a loved one with a mental health condition. Topics include: understanding diagnoses, treatment and recovery, effective communication strategies, the importance of self-care, crisis preparation strategies and NAMI and community resources. This event is offered virtually from home via video conference or by joining us at the Henry County Health Department, 110 N. Burr Boulevard, Kewanee. If you join us in-person, please come prepared with a face mask and we'll have room for social distancing.
Registration is required. We value your safety and privacy. No recording of the virtual video conference is allowed. Upon registration, you will receive Zoom video conference login information.
